Used these in years past and the deer dig up the ground long after the rocks are gone.

Homebrew mineral sites have been the poorest performers of the 3 and are a bit of a pain to deal with. Deer are immediately attracted to the buck jam area where they will soon begin to leak and enjoy the minerals. On the other hand cattle mineral blocks red tsc are not touched in some of my spots and destroyed in others. Rated 5 out of 5 by bowgross from love the mineral rocks last forever.

Keep in mind though that deer don t have much need for salt in the fall so using it as an attractant in the fall is pretty much useless.
