Within 5 seconds insert the ignition key again and turn it to the on position. Press and hold lock and unlock button for 1 5 seconds. If you are programming multiple remotes repeat step 8 for each remote within 40 seconds of step 7. You should hear a beep letting you know that the procedure was done correctly.

System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed. Insert the ignition key and remove it. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1 5 seconds.

Each set represents one pass. Change the position to door make sure all the doors are shut and that your shift lever is set to park put the key in the ignition and turn it so it is set to on once you are in the on position and before 5 seconds has passed push down the door lock switch on the driver s side keeping it down for 5 seconds. With the driver s side door open. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1 5 seconds.

If they cycle twice repeat this step again. Release the buttons and immediately press and hold the lock button for two seconds. The door should lock and unlock. The locks should cycle once to verify that the car has accepted your remote.

Close and then open the driver s side door. To program the new toyota key fob hold the unlock and lock button on the key fob for two seconds and then release. Within three seconds the locks should cycle once to show that it the procedure was successful. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the new remote simultaneously for 1 1 2 seconds.

Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press and hold the lock button by itself. Unlock the driver s side door. Quickly insert and then remove your key from the ignition switch. Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second.

Then press the lock button for up to three seconds and release. Press and release lock or unlock button. Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons for five passes.
