Long before there were complicated electric pump systems for rural properties there was gravity.

Tried to turn on it was hard then dirty water. Since this is only going to feed the cold water tap on the faucet. I do plan on fitting isolating valves so the job will be easier in future. The hot water taps will be fed from the tank in the loft which flows by gravity down to the hot water cylinder and forces hot water out to the hot water taps.

Therefore the water will just pour out. Gravity fed water pressure system. Some systems also feed cold water to bathroom cold taps and the toilet cistern so the only mains water is going to the cold tap in the kitchen.
