Wet Applying Vinyl To A Curved Surface

This instructable will use a skateboard deck as the example surface but the technique can be used for a variety of applications.

Applying vinyl to a surface with curved aspects can be tricky. Once the vinyl is in place you won t be able to adjust it easily. If you don t have any rubbing alcohol then simply give it a good hot wash. When it is in place use a piece of painter s tape to attach the vinyl to the surface from top to bottom across its middle.

Cricut vinyl on mugs. Secure the vinyl to the surface with tape. Using a few simple tools and techniques can make this a much easier process. Position your design in place on the surface.

Prepare your mug. If you re applying your sticker to a wet surface use your fingers to push and adjust the edges of the vinyl to your desired position.
